Our anchor partner, Royal North Shore Hospital is a tertiary referral hospital providing a comprehensive range of complex specialty services across 650+ beds, including:
- Major trauma care – one of NSW’s designated major trauma centres treating the region’s most critical injuries.
- Severe burns treatment – A specialist burns unit providing acute and reconstructive care for complex burns injuries.
- Spinal cord injury services – Dedicated care and rehabilitation for patients with spinal cord injuries.
- Neonatal intensive care – Specialist care for the region’s most vulnerable newborns.
- Bone marrow transplantation – One of a small number of NSW centres delivering this complex treatment.
- Neurosurgery & interventional neuroradiology – Advanced surgical and minimally invasive treatment for brain and nervous system conditions.

- Our patient cohorts have high private health insurance utilisation enabling flexible care options tailored to best meet individual needs.
- Our patients are engaged in preventative health and research participation with over 260 active clinical trials underway.
- Diverse age profile – 20% are 0-17 years old with 18% 65 years and older.
- Culturally diverse communities – 29% of our patients speak a language other than English at home. We work alongside our culturally and linguistically diverse communities to deliver culturally appropriate care.
